About Wyrdwald

Welcome to Wyrdwald. I’m Patrick Ogenstad, through novels, role playing and board games I’ve visited fantastical worlds since an early age. When it comes gaming I don’t think there’s anything to replace meeting friends around a table. I enjoy stepping into the shoes of a character I’m portraying in a role playing adventure. I also look forward to the next time I can take up the mantle as a game master where I shape the world.

Another love is something that has more of a solitary nature and it’s around the written word. My writers group have released two anthologies, alas they’re not translated from Swedish, the first one Stockholm’s undergång depicts the fall of Stockholm in short stories. The second one published by Free League Publishing is within the Mutant Year zero universe - Zonen vi ärvde. I am also working on a novel that I’d love to get published some day.

This site Wyrdwald is about combining my love of writing with my passion for games. While I’m sure that it will change with time, my initial plan is to publish the notes from the journaling RPGs and any solo RPG sessions that I play. I hope you will enjoy those journals.
